Hello and Welcome Back to my Blog!!
And as the name Suggest, Today’s Blog is all about My Love for the six yard cloth which actually has its own story i.e., Saree …Yes If i Could Truly Define it in Few Simple Words ..it would be – Six Yards of Elegance and Gracefulness and Each Saree depicting its own Story
Here in the pictures i am wearing a saree of my mother which she got as a gift back 25years and personally me and my Sister (Di) always had an eye on this ..So Finally i was able to grab the chance of wearing it .
The saree is of Silk Crepe Fabric and a Bandhini / Bandhej print over it. The print Bandhej is a living Fashion trend, personally its among one of my Favourites. I have never seen it going out of fashion. So its my Advice to always invest in sustainable Fashion.
Changing Time and Trends can Change Fashion but there are few garments or prints which actually reminds us that we should not damage our sense of style just on the name sake of fashion.
When i was actually planning to wear it for my blog. I really wanted to add a Touch of the 90’s Era but definitely with a Fresh appeal. So I choose this off white crop top with a wider Bell Sleeves, I have always seen the onscreen divas of bollywood wearing this bell sleeves blouse with different attires. It has made a comeback on this season of fashion too, and yes its totally flattering too❤
For my Hair Style I have tied my hair in a centre partition with a jooda and a gazra around it. For the makeup, I have kept it minimal and just played with my eyes. To make it look more dramatic I have chosen smokey eye look with nude lipstick. A medium sized Bindi gives a lot of appeal to my look. For accersories I have styled it with just a pair of pearl earing resembling chandballi. To up the Trend, I have wore a belt which has work of Cut- Daana, (you can even team up with any regular golden Belt) I have finished the look with golden color shoes to make it look more intresting. I Personally love this 90’s look. .
My Idea behind this Blog, is that of Reminding all of you that Definitely you or your Mom must be having a piece in your/their wardrobe, a classy Priced Possession …So next time when you don’t want to buy something for an occasion or you are confused what to wear… Just Style up the six yard and make it look fashionable and yet Classy. Team it up with a Crop top or a Bell sleeves blouse or wear a shirt and Accessorise it to be the Talk of the Town..Make your own Statement.
So thats all for this Blog, I hope you like my views and opinion. For the next Blog i am Coming up with a new Topic. Till Then Keep loving me and my Blog
